Seas CA12RCY H1152-08 Midrange is a Seas Midwoofer widely used by both OEM and speaker builders alike, with a hand-coated 4.5" paper cone and natural rubber surround, giving a very smooth midrange response with low resonances and distortion.
The 1” voice coil is specially wound to give high linearity in conjunction with the very large magnet/motor assembly. Low Q.
An extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment, the large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reducing sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.
