Seas L11RCY/P H0760-08 Midrange is a Seas 4.5" Prestige Series Midrange drive unit with an aluminium cone and low loss rubber surround. A High Temperature voice coil wound on an aluminium voice coil former gives high power handling capacity with high efficiency and low Q in conjunction with the extra large magnet/motor system.
A bullet shaped phase plug reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil, avoids resonance problems which would occur in the volume between the dust cap and the pole piece and increases the long term power handling capacity.
This unit can be successfully used a a mid-woofer in small two-way ported systems producing deep clean bass and a clear neutral midrange.
